As of now, there are no official announcements regarding changes in the syllabus for NEET 2024. Aggregate Marks : For General Category candidates, the minimum aggregate marks required in the qualifying examination are 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together. For PwD candidates belonging to the General Category, the minimum aggregate marks required are 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category, the minimum aggregate marks required are 40% (35% for PwD candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.
Number of Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts for NEET UG.
Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2024. However, foreign nationals are eligible only for admission to seats under the control of participating States/Universities/Institutions/AFMS. Foreign nationals are not eligible for admission to seats under the control of the Central Government or State Governments/Universities/Institutions/AFMS.
